From Gloucester City Centre to Southgate House:

Start from Gloucester Cathedral:

A central landmark in Gloucester, the Cathedral is a good starting point for many journeys within the city. From here, head south towards Westgate Street, one of the main streets leading out of the city centre.

Proceed along Westgate Street:

Walk or drive down Westgate Street, passing by a variety of shops and historic buildings. This street is part of Gloucester’s historic core and leads directly towards the city’s Cross, where four main streets intersect.

Continue to The Cross and onto Southgate Street:

Upon reaching The Cross, continue straight onto Southgate Street. The Cross is a key junction in Gloucester where Northgate, Southgate, Eastgate, and Westgate Streets meet.

Follow Southgate Street:

Southgate Street runs south from The Cross, heading towards the Gloucester Docks area. It’s a straight route, making it straightforward to follow.

Arrive at Southgate House:

Continue down Southgate Street until you see Southgate House on your left-hand side if you’re walking, or right-hand side if you’re driving (since you would be on the opposite side of the road). Southgate House is located before you reach the Gloucester Docks, making it relatively easy to spot along the street.
